From the moment you arrive at Andara and are met by the most polite & courteous Front Desk Staff [special mention to Cartoon, from the Front Desk] right through to the staff throughout the resort, you feel as you part of a large family rather than just a guest in a resort.
Each greeting is met with a warm & sincere smile as you wander through the luxurious resort.
I have stayed at many resorts throughout Phuket including a number of 5 star resorts, but Andara is a level above any of those!
Andara is what all new resorts in Phuket will now be judged by!
The splendar of the Pool Villas sets a standard not matched by any other resorts currently in Phuket. Furthermore the family villas futher enhance the richness of the resort with their well planned bedrooms and bathrooms that cater for the largest families or groups. Have a meal prepared by a personal chef in your own private kitchen and set alongside your own private infinity pool or venture into Phuket's number one restarautnt, Silk for that special romantic evening.
After a nights rest venture into the modern gym for a workout before breakfast or head off to the SPA for some pampering before deciding whether to relax by your private pool or take the private bus to Kamala Beach, where you have beach lounges, umbrellas and your own Life Guard on hand, in Andara's own beaqch area.
There is only one regret with Andara & that is eventually you must leave, but knowing that you will return!!

Wow, this place will blow you away!
Just stayed over Christmas and New Year at the brand new Andara resort and residences, WOW ultimate in luxury, but without the price tag.
We had an excellent sea view with the resort and the pool/ silk restaurant being in an elevated position.HUGE luxurious 3 bedroom villa with incredibly comfortable beds and whisper quite air con high quality fit out and appliances with 3 tv's and free wifi throughout.
Its brand new, we were told it officially opens next month. Get in quick as we had the place to ourselves with heaps of friendly efficient staff ready to help with anything we needed.About a hundred or so sun lounges and massive pool we were the only people there.
Kamala Beach/ shops / resturants was a 2 min shuttle service away and with exclusive use of day beds on the beach for Andara guests only, provided free in the best position on Kamala beach with heaps of lunch , drinks or massage options all around.Surin beach is 8 mins by tuk tuk and Patong about 15, we had the best time ever at the Andara. i would 100% recommend to all, as we will be back for sure
Fantastic and outstanding quality
We booked via the hotel www site which was easy and efficient. Wow! this resort is new and is going to give the more established high end resort a run for their money,especially the massive size of their luxurious suites faultless, high quality finishes with large screen TVs in all rooms including free wifi. The excellent staff treated our young daughter like family throughout our stay. "Silk" the Thai restaurant, fantastic food, outstanding quality and service, must be the best in Phuket. Can"t wait to return in June to relax by the beach with my Martini
Simply a private paradise to lose yourself in...
A splendid place for a rejuvenating hideaway. Enjoyed the enormous 2-bedroom penthouse pool suite - so huge you can play hide and seek in! Excellent service from concierge to restaurant to buggy drivers. The chauffeured buggy is free to use at your disposal -24hr. What impressed me is being able to call the concierge from any of the restaurant in kamala you are dining from and get the buggy driver to fetch you back to the resort. Thankful for the free high-speed wifi Internet access everywhere - including at the Silk restaurant where I'm posting this review while having my breakfast. Best of all, the view from the balcony overlooking Kamala is just breathtaking. Also, there's a private beach club so you can enjoy some exclusivity and away from the rowdy beach bummers. With such privacy and indulgence, this place is the best choice for honeymooners! Good for families too and the residence is fully equipped with everything you need.
A paradise filled with delights and staff to match!
First impressions are important, and the Andara Resort and Villas did not disappoint.
You are greeted by the most amazing elevated view of Kamala beach (by far the best in the area) as the light sea breezes waft across your huge private pool in the attractive landscaped garden. The interior is spacious and tastefully appointed and the staff are brilliant. Our chef Porn, whipped up truly tasty curries and the most beautifully carved fruit.
The only thing missing was an in house stocked bar. Probably a good thing!

The view over Kamala Bay is out of this world
We could not fault this brand new hotel. From the welcome by the General Manager to the room,which in fact was a suite, to the food and service to die for in the Silk. If you want the nightlife of Patong it's only 15 mins by car. We would recommend to use the hotel cars, a bit more expensive but as the local taxis seem to be all jalopys, and we were told that were not insured, the hotel cars were worth it. Our driver Maddy was great, and spoke good English. We have told our friends who we understand have already booked.
A beauty of Phuket
Been to Phuket so many times, but Andara is the most beautiful resort I have ever been.
The silk is a fantastic reastuant, great Thai food and great wine.while we were there we been to the grand opening party , everything is outstanding!

A sanctuary, no less
It was the word "go" from arrival. Andara's airport meeting service was efficient and smooth the moment we arrived at the airport. Hand over the passport and the Andara staff took care of everything. We arrived at the resort on their very smart (and very clean)white coloured SUV (sports version) and were quickly escorted to our 3 bedroom villa accommodation. Has plenty of space in the bedrooms and living and dining area. And the view of the bay was simply magnificient!. Only regret was that I had to share this view with two other guys instead of my wife. (next time will bring the wife). One can choose to have private or communal moments in the villa as there is is more than sufficient space. Sleek flat screen TVs in all rooms and a huge one in the living area complete with Bose system. I like Andara also because of the terrain which adds to the character of the place. Unfortunately, we stayed for just one night so did not have the opportunity to dine at the Silk restaurant, which I heard was very good. Neither did we have time to dip into the main pool or the private plunge pool that came with the villa. That's another reason for a return visit! The resort was running quite full but due to the layout we did not see too many other guests....this is ideal for those who are looking for peace and quietness or privacy. Summary: A truly lovely place to unwind after a mad day in Patong (which incidentally is not too far away).

Just been to visit Andara Resort in Phuket and it has to be the nicest resort I have ever stayed at in Thailand. It was pure heaven. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff (check-in, restaurant and around pool/resort all fantastic). The views from the rooms are amazing and the rooms themselves as luxurious as anything you will find anywhere in Thailand (or maybe the whole of south-east asia). Can't recommend this place enough and will certainly be back again soon.

I have travelled all corners of the globe and been lucky to stay in some of the the nicest resorts, including Maldives, Mauritius, Mexico, Caribben. Andara is without doubt the most complete luxury offering anywhere. The rooms are cavernous suites, larger then most of our houses and the villas are quite extraordinary (I visited a 4 bed villa). We stayed in the hotel suites, the pool villa being our favourite. Massive rooms, beautifully appointed, and with 2 bathrooms and separate bedrooms this is a family tastic resort.
Being located just outside Kamala gives you the best of both worlds. Incredible views and yet a short ride (complimentary anytime of day) in one of their great beach cars (no sides (you feel like royalty coming in to town) to Kamala.
The main swimming pool is stunning, the gym is top notch and there are 2 great tennis courts.
Staff are so friendly and very efficient.
This resort deserves to be right up there with the world's best and pound for pound beats the bigger brand names hands down. Look no further. You will not be disappointed, as this resort really does have the WOW factor.

This was a very special vacation for us and very enjoyable on every single day. Very attentive and friendly staff. Absolutely quiet and stunning views over the bay of Kamala. Very spacious rooms, especially comfortable for tall and big people. Difficult to find on our vacations in Thailand before.

Andara is without a doubt the best luxury resort hotel we have ever stayed in, and we have stayed in the best. I cannot say enough positive things about this new resort. We booked a Villa and WOW did get something special. The Villa was massive with its own pool, spa and games room. The Villa staff were fantastic and the Cook unbelievable, so good in fact, that during our 10 night stay we only ate out twice. This resort is destined for greatness. We have booked for Christmas already.

What a fantastic find, we could not have been more well looked after during our 7 night stay at this fantastic new hotel.
The staff never stopped smiling and became are friends very quickly.
As other reviewers have commented the rooms are in fact suites, and are massive, true luxury, we did not want to leave the room.
This is not your typical cookie cutter resort Hotel, it has been designed to be very welcoming and homey.
My partner and I loved this hotel and have told all our friends and will be back.

Pool/Beach: Pool is great with great employees, around 30 meter infinity, for hotel designated beach area, 10 away from resort.
“Truly Magnificent”
It is seldom that I took a trip outside of Singapore and I am so glad that I'd made the decision to send a bit more to stay at the Andara. The stay was marvelous and truly rejuvinates me. Wonderful interiors, very good service and some excellent dining too, must recommend the hotel's Silk Restaurant for the truly authentic Thai food and reasonably priced too for a luxury resort and hotel.

“New, slick resort”
This new resort certainly deserves its accolades in terms of design and amenities. For a new property, I was amazed at the maturity of the plantings - everything was lush and green and well-designed. The interiors of my penthouse suite were extravagant, with many touches that made me feel like I was a guest in someone's home, rather than in an anonymous hotel room.
At booking time, I was assured that the pool area was private, but I was disappointed to discover that the small rooftop pool was in full view of the rest of the resort, which stood above my room.
The food was excellent, especially the Thai menu, and I was happy to take almost every meal at the hotel's Silk restaurant whilst I was there.
My only gripe was that the hotel had ordered the removal of unsightly overheard cables during my stay. This involved noisy road works which began at 830am, with dredging that went on all day. When I complained, I was kindly moved to a villa (time-share-owned) in the compound further up, and away from the noise.
This turned out to be an enormous 3-bedroom property (2 rooms were locked up) with stunning views and more than ample living space. Unfortunately, the villa below me was being renovated, which meant banging and knocking, but with that view, and the upgrade, how could I complain?
“Some things Exceptional, Other things not so good”
Myself and partner stayed at Andara for 7 nights after reading the exceptional reviews we had read on trip advisor.We have stayed at many 5 star Resorts and i would say this one is up around the top of the list but still has alot of work to do.
Upon checking in at 2.30pm we were told our room was not ready and that we would have to wait 40 minutes, we chose to wait by the pool bar and after finishing our first drinks were told we were only entiltled to one free drink.Only a minor issue but really it was very hot and i would have expected them to cover this bill since we were only there because our room was not ready.
Once we were taken to our room i was less then impressed.I had booked a pool suite,On arrival we were told we had been given an upgrade to a penthouse suite due to the delay, The penthouse suite was in block one right on the road where alot of road works were happening, the pool is on the rooftop which is not what i wanted, when i asked to be taken to my original booking we were told there was none available and would have to wait to the following afternoon.In fact we had not really been upgraded it was just more convenient for them.Not really good enough when i could'nt even have the room i had booked more then 2 months ago.And not a very good first impression.
However the following afternoon when were taken to block 5 pool suite we were much happier,The view is lovely except the pool in the front is reallly not very private like we had been assured.
There was also a really bad smell in the bathroon that never really went away even after houskeeping had been, kind of a Musty smell or poor drainage.
Silk, fantastic food and the Pool Bar Fantastic cocktails at very reasonable prices for a 5 star property.Beach club staff Superb!! We had a terrible pizza from room service but other then that the food was great. Had to wait quite a few times towards the end of our stay for 10 mins down at the beach after the buggy had been called, not a big deal but at the start of our stay they were there by the time we had strolled up the path, it doesnt sound like long but in 38 degree heat it seems forever!!
We had a late flight and were given a late checkout till 4pm which is pretty much unheard of and we were very grateful.
The roadwork going on out the front is very unattractive and i think its terrible they would even book out any rooms in block 1 whilst that is going on let alone try to tell you you are getting an upgrade to try and sweeten the deal of staying in block 1
We are returning to Thailand again shortly but will i stay at Andara again??, i really don't know if it lived up to the hype we had read about.We tossed up between the Aman puri and Andara so maybe i would give that a go first.

“We immedietely knew we made the right choice for our stay in Phuket.”
We were immedietly very pleased with our room choice of the pool villa, large kitchen, private sparkeling infinity pool with a breathtaking view, even in suite laundry ammeneties. Then we started to experience some issues, such as no hot water, which took almost 2 hours to fix. This was remedied with a free dinner at the wonderful restaraunt, which we felt very satisfied with. However the next day, we were awakened to loud construction happening in the suite above us, so once again we expressed our dissapointment and thehotel staff assured us we would be compensated some how. The construction was immedietely halted and hours later we were escorted to the Presidential suite, which was way above our expectations. This gesture was so grande and generous, I can't recall ever being so completely satisfied with customer service in my life, and we can't express enough the high quality of service we received dailey throughout the resort. Every employee we encountered at Andara was warm and genuinely hospitable. We enjoyed the free wine tasteing in the afternoons, a ralaxing massage at the spa, and the all you can eat tapas on Sundays, when we could tear ourselves away from the stunning villa we were staying in. We will never forget our amazing vacation at Andara and will definately be staying with them again.
“Pure Indulgence”
I bid for a weekend at Andara in a charity auction earlier this year. My sister, niece and another friend were visiting from New Zealand, so all 4 of us checked into a stunning 3 bedroom apartment with views over the ocean.
The apartments have every mod con you need and are perfect for entertaining. The fit out, quality and modern thai style are exceptional. Each room is spacious with it's own ensuite bathroom. My family were astounded at how luxurious everything was.
From the moment we arrived we were thoroughly taken care of in every respect. At the press of a button we had everything we needed, whether it was room service, the buggy to pick us up or make an appointment at the spa. We had no water in one of the bathrooms during the weekend and it was fixed quietly and efficiently in half an hour.
The food at Silk Restaurant is world class and always has been a favourite of mine. We could choose between thai or international cuisine with a great kid's menu, which we also sampled :)
My 9 year old niece spent alot of time in the 40m pool with her friends and the staff were extremely attentive to their needs, bringing fruit, water and snacks throughout the day.
We had guests over for lunch on the Sunday by the main pool and it is the perfect location for entertaining, with the outdoor bar, sunloungers, chill out music and great service and presentation.
I booked my sister and her friend into the couple's suite at the spa for a massage and they were in 7th heaven.
We popped down to the beach club just nearby on Kamala Beach for a few hours one morning and were transported in a very cute openair stretch buggy. We could leave at any time with a buggy arriving in just 5 minutes.
We were locked in with rain one day, so raided the DVD library with all the latest movies for kids and adults and watched them on the big screen with surround sound. In fact there were TV's in every room, and a DVD player in the master bedroom so we didn't all have to watch the same thing.
We were given a late check out at no extra cost. There was nothing more we could have wished for and it was very difficult to leave at the end of the weekend. I am now planning to have a farewell party for my family at Andara before they head back to New Zealand and will highly recommend Andara to anyone visiting Phuket.
“Holiday from heaven!!!!”
It took me some 4 weeks to finally decide where to spend our precious three days in Phuket and I am so happy I chose Andara. From the minute we stepped off the plane to the time we checked in to come back home, our Andara experience was one of the best we have ever experienced in the world. (and we have travelled to many parts of the world).
Being greeted at the airport on arrival, our VIP exit through immigration and transfer to the resort was unbelievable. Check in at the resort was professional, yet friendly and then our three days began. Nothing was too much trouble for the friendly staff. Silks restaurant (located at the resort), certainly stood up to its standard of being the best in Phuket. The villa we stayed in was incredibly roomy with all the facilities you could wish for. We were fortunate enough to have a villa with private pool. Andara's beach club is an experience all on its own. All I can say is a big thank you to Monthip and her staff for making this one of the best holidays we have ever had
“Super resort, great loaction, friendly staff & management”
This all-suite property is idealy located 40 minutes from Phuket Airport.
Air-side pick-up is a nice touch followed by a 4x4 limo to the hotel.
The rooms are huge with full amenities including kitchen. We had a pool villa which was exceptional. Good build quality.
Silks, the restaurant, is Thai & italian. Good menu, not over complicated. The Thai food is fantastic.
Staff are very accommodating and super-friendly, nothing is too much trouble.
Over all this is a super little property for those who want a luxury retreat in Phuket.

It was a great stay with nice spacious clean rooms, dvds to rent out to watch, friendly staff who provided much information on what to do in phuket, close to kamala beach which offers a quiet respite compared to the more crowded patong beach... was only put off by the many mosquitoes in the hotel in spite of lots of insect repellant sprayed on..
“Doesn't get any better than this!”
My fiancee & I have spent many vacations staying at different resorts around the region, but the standard set by the Andara would be hard to top. I must say though, that it didn't get off to a good start because the room we were allocated turned out to be right next to the main road by the resort entrance, with a view of telegraph poles & cables; and it didn't help that there was roadworks going on during the time we were there. Thankfully, the staff were very understanding & helpful when we requested for another room & this being low season, fortunately, they were able to give us several options.
To cut a long story short, the alternative accommodations were more than impressive and certainly overcame any dissatisfaction we may have initially had. Mind you, i doubt if that could have been possible during the high season!
The resort is not cheap, but the facilities & service were absolutely top-notch and I think offered great value for what you pay. The staff are a credit to the establishment with their poise, initiative & ready smiles. The rooms/suites/villas are huge & luxuriously furnished & while it's not one of those cutting-edge, designer showhouses, one can't help but be impressed with its quiet - almost modest - & understated style.
The location is fantastic, if you want to just relax & escape the crowds & tourist traps in the nearby town, yet you're only a 10minute shuttle ride away. We ended up spending most of our time in the resort!

Everything you could possibly need to enjoy a carefree, relaxing family holiday...the staff were superb enhancing an already wonderful experience.
Kamala Beach has everything you need if you feel the need to escape from the resort at all....you could easily get lost here for days....just enjoying the surrounds and facilties.
“Up there with the best”
We stayed in the new Andara suites - what a fantastic, if expensive, space. Our own private chef, pool (a proper pool, not a plunge pool!) with one of the best Thai restaurants (Silk) on site as well.
Unsurprisingly, the place felt brand new (I believe it has only just opened) and the reception, rooms, spa and gym were all beyond reproach. They also have a wonderful navette service to take you to and from Kamala beach.
The suites themselves are massive. Our master bedroom, dressing room and bathroom alone must have been over 100sq.m and the others aren't that far behind. Views are straight outt over Kamala bay and the loaction is incredibly convienent.
I would urge any international guest to take up the US$50 VIP immigration service to by-pass the chaos at immigration at Phuket airport (another great touch).
